iPad seizes Engadget editors Gadget of the year

I mentioned that the iPad has been designated as Gadget of the year 2010 by the readers of Engadget (more than 100,000 of them) a few days back. It ya a few days Engadget announced that it has also won Gadget of the year in their 2010 Engadget Awards Editors' Choice.

It's double fun. Here's the reasoning behind the editors' pick of the iPad and some praise for the Evo 4 G, which was the finalist:

The iPad has won one go - there is just no denying the influence the Tablet Apple had on the industry this year. But we believe that the Evo 4 G may be recalled that the first of a new breed of smartphones, and it is pretty amazing too.

2010 IPad named year Engadget gadget.

A little later than others, but another great win for the iPad. It was the name Gadget of the year 2010 Engadget Awards.

More than 100,000 readers of Engadget voted on prices, so this is another good for trophy cabinet iPad. He also collected Portable device of the year media and Tablet PCs for the year.

iPad is number 1 gadget 2010 for readers from gdgt

The iPad completed the top cards as the most popular gadget among readers of very tech savvy gdgt, Ryan and Peter Rojas blocks ' excellent site for discussions and gadget reviews.

Since it is towards the end of the year, we thought that we have developed a list of the twenty most popular gadgets site in 2010, as determined by our users. We calculated the list by examines each gadget desires and the haves number and then factoring in his activity level (i.e. number of questions, comments, reviews, the page views, etc.).

This is a victory for the iPad. I began to wonder if she is headed for a "sweep" of all the main gadget type year price. It certainly does surprise me.

Gadget of the iPad named Time Magazine of the year

Time magazine has iPad to number 1 in their list of the year 2010 Gagdets.

No big shocker here, as I expect lots of end-of-year journey iPad prices like this, but the time is a big name, and it is good to see the iPad recognized in their list. Why is their choice for the gadget of the year the following their blurb:

It is not the first touchscreen tablet in the history of computing, but it is easily the most successful so far. With 3 iPads million sold in their first month only and an interactive market and magazines created newspapers almost every night, Apple finally succeeded in making the calculation of cool tablet.
