For many users, the iPad responds to its description as "intimate" device - how often used when available around on a couch and the like. There are a number of situations – not least when games - when you do not want the iPad continue its normal directions screen flipping hand that shift you it around. When you want it just remain fixed in landscape or portrait.
Fortunately, it is easy to put on the iPad. Here's how:
-Double-click the home button to raise the iPad multitasking bar. This will show you all your recently used applications.
-Magnetic right into the taskbar to show the items on the extreme left of the bar. You should see app icon from the built-in iPod controls for iPod, a slider control brightness and control lock orientation on the extreme left of the bar.
-You simply click on lock orientation to switch lock orientation and outside (in whatever mode, it is now).
It is everything. Another very basic but very practical iPad edge – hopefully useful for those of you who are new to the iPad.
