Writepad for iPad update adds Palm Rest, export in PDF and more

Writepad for iPad - one of the most versatile and notetaking iPad - the most powerful applications took another update this week to Version 4.5 (or indeed now to 4.5.1 at the time of writing).

The two big v 4.5 additions are a Palm Rest feature that allows users to rest their hands then in handwriting mode and the ability to export documents in PDF format. Improved printing and new graphics are other notable changes.

Writepad is certainly among the richest feature iPad notes apps. Here are some of its key features:

* Create and edit documents from text using advanced handwriting recognition engine or iPad keyboard for entering text in landscape mode or portrait
* Improved productivity using gestures inline spellchecker, parser context and characteristics of the shorthand
* E-mail, Tweet, print, or post Facebook updates directly from WritePad
* WritePad documents synchronize with Exchange and iTunes
Translate documents in 13 languages supported by Bing translator
* Change the appearance of the WritePad by manipulating the text page and colors of ink from the customizable Styles feature
