HP has updated plus six of their support of AirPrint printers. AirPrint is supposed to be one of the major software update for the latest 4.2 for the iPad iOS feature. It was originally announced as offering universal printing from iOS devices, shared printers and wireless. On the release so it is very disappointing and - until today - supported only a dozen printers HP (no any other manufacturers) and no any shared printers.

HP printers have six now adding AirPrint support are:

OfficeJet 6500A e - AiO

OfficeJet 6500A more e - AiO

OfficeJet 7500A large format e - AiO

OfficeJet Pro 8500A e - AiO

OfficeJet Pro 8500A more e - AiO

OfficeJet Pro 8500A Premium e - AiO

Interestingly, Apple has not yet added to their document AirPrint support.

These models ranging from $129 upwards on Amazon. Even with these added, it is still less than 20 printers supported by AirPrint and manufacturer - universal extreme stretch. In the meantime, if you're on a Mac there is a very nice application shortly which will allow you to use almost any printer shared with AirPrint like acute Apple of new functionality.
