According to reports, Microsoft is poised to announce their 2,3 Take take or may take 10 on a range of Tablet PCs to compete with the iPad the of the next month.

Microsoft present once more Slate PC running Windows 7 in 2011 Consumer Electronics Show next month, hoping to provide users with an alternative to Apple iPad.

According to a report by New York Times, "Director of Microsoft [Steve Ballmer] should announce a number of these devices, when he takes the stage at the, highlighting devices built by Samsung and Dell, among a number of other manufacturing partners."

The report said that the new harvest of Slate PC included a model of Samsung "similar in size and shape to the iPad Apple., though not as thin it also includes a unique and slippery keyboard that slides out from underneath for easy typing."

Do not spend too much time indicating the very clear here, but I think being the most successful on these slates new opportunities appear to be rather long side. The iPad has already has a huge head start and will be moving soon in its second generation. and Microsoft are those who have been mess with shelves for a decade and essentially getting nowhere in terms of consumer appeal. More that just well, the only thing most asserts that "immediate failure" for me is that the new "slates" will be running Windows 7. I just think that a desktop operating system and above all an Office Microsoft operating system that is the way forward for tablets.

For now, I should mark these as likely not competitors for the iPad.

All them are you? Microsoft will suddenly doing things with shelves next year?
